Terms of Service

Last updated: [date]

This is a starter agreement so the page exists and links work. Before launch, have it reviewed and replaced by counsel. It is not legal advice.

The service

Prush is a marketplace where artists publish portfolios and businesses post briefs and commission original work. Prush facilitates the connection and the payment; the artist and the business are the parties to each commission.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. Artists must only post work they created or have the right to show.

Commissions and payment

Clients pay before work starts, and Prush holds the payment. It is released to the artist when the client approves the finished work, or automatically if they do not respond within seven days. Prush charges the client a service fee in addition to the artist's price, disclosed at checkout before payment. Nothing is deducted from the artist's payout. A commission cancelled before the artist starts work is refunded in full.

Licensing

Usage rights for each commission are set in the brief and attached to the agreement before work begins. Unless otherwise agreed, the artist retains copyright and grants the business the license described there.

Conduct

No harassment, no plagiarism, no attempts to move an Prush-originated commission off-platform to avoid fees. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
